The unbending device (40) has a tensile transfer device (28) to transfer tensile forces between the interior of a seat and a support. An anchorage device (29) is provided to fasten the support directly or indirectly to a cushion and/or the seat. A reinforcement device (9) distributes the tensile forces of the tensile transfer device uniformly along the support. A pressure distribution device avoids the concentration of compressive forces of the unbending device on functional units in the seat. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat with a pad.
