<p>Provided is a received field intensity estimating device for estimating a received field intensity at the instant when a signal sent from a sender is received by a receiver, by using such one of gains in the individual directions of an antenna directive pattern of the antenna of the sender as is directed in the sending direction indicating the direction of the receiver viewed from the side of the sender, thereby to output the received field intensity estimated. The received field intensity estimating device comprises an averaging unit (17) for averaging the gains of the individual directions of the antenna directive pattern, within the angular range, as taken around that direction, of the arrival wave angle indicating the signals arriving from the sender to the receiver. Further comprised is a received field intensity calculating unit (16) for calculating the received field intensity, by using at least the gain in the sending direction of the gains in the individual directions of the antenna directive pattern averaged, thereby to output the calculated result as the estimated received field intensity.</p> |
