MONOPOLE ANTENNA AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HAVING THE SAME

A monopole antenna and electronic equipment having the same are provided to enhance efficiency by increasing radiation power through increment of current flowing in a radiator with a reinforcement circuit unit inserted into the radiator. A monopole antenna includes a radiator(11) and a reinforcement circuit unit(12). The radiator is electrically connected to a feed unit(10) and positioned on a limited plane-ground surface(G). The reinforcement circuit unit is inserted into the radiator so that current distribution becomes uniform on at least a part of the radiator. The reinforcement circuit unit is grounded to the ground surface and includes at least one capacitor(13a,13b) and at least one inductor(14a,14b). The at least one capacitor is inserted into the radiator. One end of the at least one inductor is connected to the radiator and the other end thereof is connected to the ground surface.
