A light cube and a planar light source unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the light cube are provided to allow red, green and blue lights to be uniformly emitted from a red LED(Light Emitting Diode), a green LED and a blue LED and uniformly mix the red, green and blue lights to achieve white light to thereby improve luminance, color mixture and luminance uniformity. A light cube includes red, green and blue LEDs(202,204,206), a first lens(210), and a second lens(220). The red, green and blue LEDs are formed on a substrate(200). The first lens is formed on the substrate to cover the LEDs. The second lens accommodates the first lens and has a concave portion(222) capable of receiving the first lens to form a cavity between the first and second lenses.
