<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to order the output of an image edited by using a template. <P>SOLUTION: Image data capable of being designated is displayed in a screen, and designation information indicating image data selected on the basis of this display is taken in. Templates available for image editing are displayed in the screen, and designation information indicating a template selected on the basis of this display is taken in. Output forms capable of being designated as an output form of the image data are displayed in the screen, and designation information indicating an output form selected on the basis of this display is taken in. The selected template is used to edit the selected image data, and an edited image resulting from editing is displayed in the screen.
