PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of stabilizing the potential of a cMUT chip and stabilizing ultrasonic characteristics. SOLUTION: The substrate 40 of the cMUT chip 20 is connected to a ground line 94 through a conductive material 89 at a corner part, and the substrate 40 of the cMUT chip 20 is turned to a ground potential. Thus, the potential of the cMUT chip is stabilized and the ultrasonic characteristics are stabilized. Also, the upper part of the substrate 40 of the cMUT chip 20 of the ground potential is insulated doubly by an acoustic lens and an insulation layer. Thus, an electric shock is not received from an ultrasonic transmission/reception surface even when the ultrasonic transmission/reception surface is worn or broken or the like.
