摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety structure of a resin battery can which can avoid contamination and breakage of installations due to a big volume of gas erupting at a moment and strongly from a battery can and in which a working groove can swell at a moment. SOLUTION: The safety structure of a resin battery can is composed of a resin can which is molded integrally and has a housing space with an open mouth inside and into which an electrode plate and an electrolyte are inserted from the open mouth, and the housing space can be airtight with the open mouth sealed by a battery lid. At least one working groove 30 is formed in advance on an inside wall surface of the housing space of the battery can 20, and a groove mouth of the working groove faces inside the battery can and between a bottom portion of the working groove and a wall surface of an external portion of the battery can, there is formed a thinnest working portion of the wall surface of the whole battery can, and when a gas pressure inside the battery can becomes extraordinarily high, the working portion swells greatly outside alongside in a radius direction of the battery can and a crack develops and a pressurized gas is discharged out.
