COOLING MEASURE OF TAIL GAS, AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an exhaust gas which does not reduce cooling efficiency even when the outside air temperature is high and also can prevent a cooling pipe in a casing on the upstream side from being exhausted by an effect due to high-temperature oxidation even when the temperature of the exhaust gas reaches not less than predicted higher temperature.

SOLUTION: The cooling device comprises the casing 2 partitioned by a partition wall 2b into a cooling air chamber A and a gas chamber G positioned opposite to this cooling air chamber A interposed, a cooling fan F supplying cooling air to the cooling air chamber A, and a number of cooling pipes 2a communicating with the gas chamber G positioned opposite by penetrating the cooling air chamber A, wherein a liquid supply mechanism 10 is arranged for cooling air.
