PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission type lamp containing, in particular, carbon nanotubes which is simple in structure and of which manufacturing process is also simple. SOLUTION: The field emission type lamp comprises a transparent tube, a positive electrode, a negative electrode having an electron emitting layer, and two columns. The positive electrode comprises a conductive film coated on the inner wall of the transparent tube, a fluorescent layer formed on the surface of the conductive film, and a positive electrode pole. The negative electrode comprises an emitter and a negative electrode pole.
