PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new power cable or an electric control cable structure which can be manufactured by the same tool as used in the manufacture of a cable as shown in Figure 1, and is small in size, light in weight, and has an excellent mechanical strength. SOLUTION: This relates to an electric control cable (1') having a cross-sectional diameter of 2 mm or less which includes a plurality of strands stranded so as to form a stranded conductor. Only a specific strand (20) of the stranded conductor is made of an electric conductive material, for example, copper, and the rest of the strands (40) are made of a non-conductive material such as polyimide, high-strength polyester, or polyether-imide.
