PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution for simplifying calculation of occluded area and occlusion angle and forming shading of the self shadow of a dynamic object. SOLUTION: A sphere tree is previously formed, the occluded area value and occlusion angle value of an extension point in a 3D object are calculated based on this structure, and an access value map and composite circular measure map are formed. When the shading of the self shadow of the object is formed, the latest position of each sphere in the sphere tree is directly updated, and then information in a map is picked up, thereby forming a 3D image. Since the access value map and composite circular measure map are previously stored, the real time arithmetic amount is reduced sharply when the shading of the self shadow of the dynamic object is required to be formed.
