PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension assembly having a dielectric limiter. SOLUTION: The suspension assembly includes a load beam and a flexure assembly 100. The flexure assembly includes a fixed section 119b to fixed to the load beam, the main rings 113a, 113b, 115a, 115b and subrings 111a, 111b extending from the fixed section, and a metal layer forming the flexure tongues 123 defining the limiter joints 127a, 127b at the movable side. The limiter joints 129a, 129b at the fixed side are defined by the main rings.
