PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new liquid crystal display device with which stereoscopic appearance of an image to be displayed in a multilayered manner is adjusted, and an apparatus with a display function having the liquid crystal display device mounted thereon. SOLUTION: Liquid crystal panels 14 and 18 are laid one over the other so that each of the liquid crystal panels is oriented in a forward direction. Four spacers 16 are detachably provided between the liquid crystal panels 14 and 18. The liquid crystal panels 14 and 18 are positioned relative to each other by five through-holes 122 arrayed in a thickness direction of the spacer 16 at intervals corresponding to the thickness of the spacer 16, and a projection 182 to be engaged in one of the through-holes 122.
