PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete processing for detecting the position of a wheel by a transmitter-receiver on the wheel side. SOLUTION: A trigger signal including a first trigger command is outputted from a first trigger machine 5a to right and left front wheels 6a and 6b. A trigger signal including a second trigger command different from the first trigger command is outputted from a second trigger machine 5b to right and left rear wheels 6c and 6d. In the transmitter-receiver 2, whether or not mounted wheels are the front wheels or the rear wheels is determined based on the first trigger command or the second trigger command included in the trigger signal, and whether or not the mounted wheels are the left wheels or the right wheels is determined based on reception intensity of the trigger signal.
