<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of defective quality due to a sealing material without thwarting the narrowing of a frame and also without degrading a reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a display device being one embodiment of this invention comprises: a process of forming a line pattern on a driving element substrate 91; a process of forming an insulating film so as to cover the line pattern; a process of flattening a difference between a first substrate and the line pattern by selectively shaving the insulating film on the line pattern; a process of disposing a sealing material 40 on the insulating film; a process of disposing a counter substrate 92 so as to oppose the driving element substrate 91; and a process of sticking the driving element substrate 91 and the counter substrate 92 to each other with the sealing material 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
