PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary vane oil rotary vacuum pump having a structure which prevents overheating of the lubricant. SOLUTION: The lubricant seal type rotary vane oil rotary vacuum pump comprises: a motor; a pump stage having a pump stage housing; a safety valve; a lubricating pump with inlet and outlet; a lubricant tank at least partially surrounding the pump stage housing; and a hydraulic conduit. The lubricant supplied through the hydraulic conduit opens the safety valve. To prevent the overheating of the lubricant in the lubricant tank, a pipe branched from the hydraulic conduit at a portion between the outlet of the lubricating pump and the safety valve, in which the pressurized lubricant flows into the lubricant tank through the pipe.
