PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degrading in accuracy of injection amount caused by deterioration of slidability of a command piston or a nozzle needle. SOLUTION: A direction of discharge of fuel from a high pressure fuel passage 261 is set so that high pressure fuel spirally flows into a control chamber 216 from the high pressure fuel passage 261. A pressure-receiving surface which receives the flow of the high pressure fuel flowing into the control chamber 216 and applies torque to the command piston 23 is formed on one end of the command piston 23. Thus, since the command piston 23 is rotated so as to change a contact surface between the command piston 23 and a holder body 21, the entire circumferences of the command piston 23 and the holder body 21 are worn substantially uniformly to thereby prevent uneven wear.
