PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide refurbishing flooring and a refurbishing method of flooring which can easily refurbish soft flooring to hard flooring, and which can ensure ease in work. SOLUTION: An intermediate member 4 is arranged on soft flooring 3 so that it cannot move, and hard flooring 5 is attached on the intermediate member 4. Then the hard flooring 5 arranged in the vicinity of walls 9, 10 is fixed by a nail 11 which is a fixing instrument, and the nail 11 is driven into a flooring base material 2 which is placed under the soft flooring 3 by penetrating the hard flooring 5, the intermediate member 4, and the soft flooring 3.
