PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Kimono dressing method enabling a wearer to easily wear a Kimono almost without losing shape, easily restoring even if reprocessing a conventional Kimono, and enabling wearers who have different heights to wear the same Kimono, to provide a dressing assistance tool, and to provide a dressing assistance Kimono. SOLUTION: This Kimono dressing method includes sticking a first engaging tool 2 to the rear of a Kimono 1 below the center line 17 of shoulder on the Kimono 1 by a length from the shoulder to the hipbone of a wearer, sticking a second engaging tool 5 which is freely attachable and detachable from the first engaging tool 2 to the backside of the Kimono 1 above the bottom line 18 of the Kimono 1 by a length from the heel to the hipbone of a wearer, and sticking the first engaging tool 2 and the second engaging tool 5 to each other to form a tucked part 8. Furthermore, the method includes draping the Kimono 1 over the shoulders, overlapping the lower front and the upper front of the Kimono on each other followed by inserting the top 81 of the tucked part 8 of the upper front into the top 81 of the tucked part 8 of the lower front, passing a first waist cord 3 and a second waist cord 4 around the waist of a wearer on the inside of the top 81 of the tucked part 8 to be fixed to the first waist cord 3 and an under-sash, respectively, and then tightening a desired Obi 9.
