PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing doorway device for an elevator capable of restricting the deterioration of the air-tightness of a landing doorway in case of a fire. SOLUTION: When a shielding screen 12 is positioned in a sealing position, a screen weight 13 holds the shielding screen 12 in the sealing position by its own weight. When the shielding screen 12 is positioned in the sealing position, the lower end of the screen weight 13 is inserted into a weight receiver groove 9b. Namely, the weight receiver groove 9b receives the lower part of the screen weight 13. When the lower end of the screen weight 13 is inserted into the weight receiver groove 9b, a first incombustible sheet 10 and the bottom of the screen weight 13 abut on each other over the whole length thereof, and the first incombustible sheet 10 is deformed.
