PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can effectively raise the hope of a game player to a special winning combination without making the control complicated, and also, without greatly affecting a putting-out ratio. SOLUTION: A CPU 41a performs the stop control for reels conforming to a stop controlling table which is uniquely defined to an internal winning state and the stopped situation of the reels (and the stopped positions of already stopped reels). At the same time, when no special winning combination is carried over under a normal game state, and also, a one-ball combination accompanying the putting out of a required number of balls for setting a maximum betting number which can be set for one game by an internal lottery has been won, if a stopping operation is detected by a timing by which a display result constituting the one-ball combination cannot be introduced on the left reel, the stop controlling table which can introduce the display result constituting a chance combination which is not introduced when no winning combination is won is prepared, and the stop control of the reels is performed conforming to the stop controlling table.
