DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A display panel and a display device having the same are provided to minimize a degree of non-uniformity and instability of common voltage caused by RC delay, and uniformly apply common voltage over the whole area of the display panel. A display panel(100) comprises an array substrate(110), a counter substrate(120) and an LC(Liquid Crystal) layer. The array substrate comprises the following parts. Gate lines are prolonged in a first direction. Data lines are prolonged in a second direction crossing the first direction. A common line(400) applies common voltage to plural pixel units partitioned by the gate and data lines. The common line has a main common line(410) prolonged along the second direction and sub common lines(420) prolonged along the first direction from each main common line.
