ANTI-UV COATING COMPOSITION AND THE USE THEREOF

An anti-UV coating composition, and a film having a coating layer comprising the composition are provided to improve brightness and weather resistance and to prevent the yellowing of a base. An anti-UV coating composition comprises an inorganic microparticle; a resin; and at least one kind of organic particle having a refractive index different from that of the resin, wherein the organic particle has a particle size of 0.1-10 micrometers. Preferably the organic particle is selected from the group consisting of a methacrylic resin, a silicone resin particle and their mixture and has a refractive index of 1.40-1.60; and the absolute value of refractive index difference is 0.07-0.6.
