An ice discharging system, a refrigerator having the same, and a control method for the ice discharging system are provided to control the number and the speed of ice discharge as desired by a user by an ice sensor and an user input part. An ice discharging system includes an ice bank(120) for storing ice therein and having an outlet formed at a side to discharge the ice to the outside, an ice carrier(130) for moving the ice in the ice bank toward the outlet, a sensor(150) for sensing ice discharging from the outlet, and a control part for controlling the ice carrier according to a signal input from the sensor. A user inputs the number of ice pieces discharged at a time to the control part via an input part.
