An arc-suppression apparatus of an air circuit breaker is provided to maximally suppress discharge of an arc and a metal molten scattering material outside by finally passing through a second mesh member. An arc-suppression apparatus of an air circuit breaker includes a square-frame shaped main body(141), a plurality of grids(142), a ventilation cover(147), and a shield unit(200). The main body includes insertion grooves(141a) on inner surfaces at both sides. The grids are stacked along a height direction of the main body by being inserted into the insertion grooves and formed of planar bodies. The ventilation cover is coupled to a rear surface of the main body to prevent separation of the grids coupled to the insertion grooves. The shield unit shields discharge of a metal molten scattering material generated by a heat gas outside by being interposed between the stacked grids and the ventilation cover.
