A plug-in unit and an electronic apparatus are provided to reduce a cost by commonly using a housing regardless of a structures and a kind of the plug-in units by controlling flow rate distribution through a flow rate control member. A plug-in unit(3) is used by being received in a housing of an electronic apparatus including a cooling fan and includes a flow rate control member(4). The flow rate control member includes apertures with variable aperture ratios for controlling a flow rate of air at an inlet of cooling air generated from the cooling fan or at an outlet of the cooling air. The aperture ratios are varied within a range according to caloric value of an electronic device mounted on the electronic apparatus.
