<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller wherein abrupt fluctuation in motor current value can be suppressed and an electric power steering device. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device 10, proportional-integral control is carried out by ECU 50 based on a current value Ij for determination obtained by subjecting the q-axis actual current value Iq of an assist motor 40 to lead-lag compensation. As a result, proportional-integral control based on a q-axis actual current value that underwent lead-lag compensation can be carried out. Therefore, response in control to fluctuation in q-axis actual current value can be accelerated as compared with cases where control is carried out based on a q-axis actual current value without lead-lag compensation. Therefore, it is possible to accelerate proportional-integral control to fluctuation in motor current value to suppress abrupt fluctuation in motor current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
