<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can adjust a phase difference between motors by changing a motor period multiple times with the rotation state of a polygon motor left stable. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes a period formation sections 4, 5 for forming motor clocks 1, 2 which controls the rotation period of the polygon motors 7a, 8a, a phase difference measurement section 3 for measuring the phase difference of print synchronizing signals 1, 2 showing the phase difference state of the polygon motor output from each of the polygon motors 7a, 8a and an adjustment control section 2 for adjusting the phase difference from the other polygon motor 8a by continuously subtracting or adding multiple times. The adjustment control section 2 compares one half of an initial phase difference just after the starting of the polygon motor with an existing phase difference adjustment amount which was already adjusted and then adjusts the rotation period of the polygon motor 8a from the comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
