TRANSLATION INPUT SUPPORT PROGRAM, STORAGE MEDIUM RECORDING THE SAME, TRANSLATION INPUT SUPPORT APPARATUS, AND TRANSLATION INPUT SUPPORT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency in translation input operation by allowing a user to more easily and suitably input translation.

SOLUTION: A specification part 202 receives specification of a target range in original data inputted by an input part 201. An acquisition part 203 acquires original words in each language which are obtained by decomposing the target range specified by the specification part 202. A retrieval part 204 retrieves translation words related to the original words acquired by the acquisition part 203 from translation words stored in a storage part 200. An extraction part 206, when a character string of a second language is inputted by an input part 201, extracts translation words coincident or related with/to the inputted character string of the second language as input candidates from the translation words retrieved by the retrieval part 204. A display part 205 displays the input candidates extracted by the extraction part 206 under the control of a display control part 207.
