PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dither matrix generator suitable for generating a dither matrix, in consideration of correction processing, to be used in a printer provided with a printing head with a nozzle capable of forming dots of various sizes, a printer and an image processor. SOLUTION: The printer 100 includes: an image data correction part 15 for correcting solid image data; a dot number counting part 17 for counting the number of the dots constituting a solid image on the basis of the corrected and N-valued solid image data; a dot number conversion part 18 for converting the counted number of the dots to the number of specified dots on the basis of the counted result and dot density information; a specified dot formation number determination part 20 for determining the number of forming the specified dots on the basis of the converted result and dot ratio information; and a threshold change part 22 for changing the threshold of the dither matrix used for N-value converting the solid image data to be processed on the basis of the determined formation number of the specified dots.
