PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging head which can prevent air bubbles from being generated at the time of the formation of a feeding port, and can prevent a nozzle material from being deformed, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This liquid discharging head is equipped with an orifice plate which has a plurality of chip units for which a heating resistor is formed on a board by using a Si board, and has a discharging port which is installed on the board. Also, the liquid discharging head discharges ink liquid droplets in the vertical direction to the board surface from the discharging port of the orifice plate. In this manufacturing method for the liquid discharging head, a removable rib-form protuberance is formed between the chip units during the manufacturing process of the liquid discharging head.
