PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fire extinguishing apparatus or a fire extinguisher with alarm function having a low-cost means for detecting the pressure decrease and emitting an electric signal when the pressure of a pressure accumulation type fire extinguishant storage container decreases. SOLUTION: This fire extinguishing apparatus or fire extinguisher attached with a discharge duct with emission nozzle and an indicating manometer in a pressure accumulation type fire extinguishant storage container holder and non-using a pressure switch individually is characterized in that the indicating manometer incorporates the fixed contact opening/closing by the movement of an indicator needle for indicating its pressure and, when the pressure of the fire extinguishant storage container decreases, the indicator needle comes into contact with the fixed contact to close a short-circuit signal circuit.
