PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chopsticks which are economical, have great mechanical strength, are easy to hold and eat with, are easy to eat with good manner, and have beautiful appearance when manufactured by a molding means. SOLUTION: Chopsticks have longitudinal recessed grooves 1a and 1b in a direction along a longitudinal direction of the chopsticks formed on the surface of the chopsticks.
