PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid detergent composition for a hard surface, having an excellent detergency and foaming property, especially suitable for tableware. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition for a hard surface comprises (a) an amine oxide type surfactant represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is a 6-24C alkyl group or an alkenyl group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently a 1-4C alkyl group or hydroxyalkyl group), (b) an amine oxide type surfactant represented by general formula (II) (R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>are each independently a 6-24C alkyl group or alkenyl group; R<SP>6</SP>is a 1-4C alkyl group or hydroxyalkyl group) and (c) an anionic surfactant represented by general formula (III) (R<SP>7</SP>is a 6-24C alkyl group or alkenyl group; R<SP>8</SP>is a 1-3C alkanediyl group; n is an average addition molar number and is 0.5-10.0; M is an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or an ammonium group).
