PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-solid external preparation for antipruritic use, effective for suppressing the itchiness of the skin, free from the problems of the coagulation of a solid pigment compounded for masking the skin syndrome such as redness and pigmentation in the application of the preparation and the precipitation of the pigment with time, and having excellent appearance stability. SOLUTION: The semi-solid external preparation for antipruritic use contains the following components (A) to (F): (A) one or more kinds of antipruritic components, (B) one or more kinds of solid pigments, (C) a lower alcohol, (D) water, (E) a monofatty acid glycerol ester wherein the fatty acid has 6-22 carbon atoms, and (F) light anhydrous silicic acid.
