PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick-hardening composition which is a hydration-hardening quick-hardening composition to be blended in mortar or concrete, has excellent weathering resistance enough to withstand satisfactorily even when stored in the atmosphere for a long period of time while dispensing with a special environmental control-considered storage facility or troublesome storage treatment, and exhibits high short-time strength stably after kneading water is injected therein. SOLUTION: The quick-hardening composition having hydration reactivity contains CaO and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>as chemical components and a particulate mixture composed of particles having 0.5-0.85 molar ratio (CaO/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) of CaO to Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and <10μm particle size and particles having 1-1.5 molar ratio (CaO/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) of CaO to Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and≥10μm particle size.
