PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, to control the output of an access packet (PA) transmitted from a mobile station (MS) so that the input variations of the receiver of a transmitting-receiving base station can be reduced. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for controlling the output of an access packet. Within a base transmitting-receiving station (BTS), output information indicating the transmission power (TPo(BTS)) of a broadcast channel (BCCH), is included on the broadcast channel. Within the mobile station (MS), the output received on this channel is measured; this measured output value (RP(MS)) is compared with the transmission power obtained from transmission power information contained in the broadcast channel (BCCH), to deduce the estimate of the propagation loss from the mobile station (MS) to the base transmitting-receiving station (BTS); and optimal transmission power for the access packet (PA) is determined, using the estimated propagation loss and parameters of a system.
