An apparatus for driving a car signal light is provided to notify another vehicle of information with respect to an emergency condition and a proceed direction by alternately flickering a turn signal and an emergency light. A frequency generating unit(100) generates a first frequency and a second frequency to output them. A left signal generating unit(200) receives the two frequencies inputted from the frequency generating unit to generate a flickering signal of a left turn signal(600). The left signal generating unit alternately generates flickering signals of a right turn signal(700) and an emergency light. A right signal generating unit(300) receives the two frequencies inputted from the frequency generating unit. The right signal generating unit generates a flickering signal of the right turn signal. The right signal generating unit alternately generates flickering signals of the right turn signal and the emergency light. A left turn signal driving unit(400) flickers the left turn signal in response to an output of the left signal generating unit. A right turn signal driving unit(500) flickers the right turn signal in response to an output of the right signal generating unit. The left signal generating unit is comprised of a first gate, a second gate, a fifth gate, and a seventh gate. The right signal generating unit is comprised of a third gate, a fourth gate, a sixth gate, and an eighth gate. The first gate receives the first frequency and a left turn light operation signal. The second gate receives the second frequency and an emergency light operation signal. The fifth gate receives an output of the second gate and the first frequency. The seventh gate receives an output of the first gate and an output of the fifth gate. The third gate receives the first frequency and a right turn light operation signal. The fourth gate receives the second frequency and the emergency light operation signal. The sixth gate receives an output of the fourth gate and the first frequency. The eighth gate receives an output of the third gate and an output of the sixth gate.
