<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method which can start a brushless motor in a current application mode of appropriate low rotational speed, being able to quickly perform switching drive control, between a current application method for low speed of a brushless motor, and to provide a current application method for low speed. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter leading to a DC power source 5 is connected to the brushless motor 3 provided with positional sensors 4 for three phases, and the brushless motor 3 is controlled to drive, being switched in between the current application modes of the current application system for high speed, and the current application system for low speed by a controller 1. The controller 1 is provided with a control circuit 1A for the brushless motor 3 and a current application switching control means 10 which obtains a rotational speed, after a fixed time from the reduction value of the rotational speed detected in each fixed cycle of the brushless motor 3 and orders it to switch the current application mode from the current application system for high speed, to the current application method for low speed. The current application switching control means 10 is equipped with a deceleration operating part 11, a rotational speed estimating unit 12, a current application mode determining unit 13, and a current application mode switching instructing part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
