<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless device for a vehicle, having adequate measures against the case where a detection area overlaps that of another vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In this keyless device for a vehicle, an on-vehicle unit 3 provided on a vehicle transmits a signal to a portable unit 2, and the portable unit 2 sends a return signal to the on-vehicle unit 3 on receiving transmission from the on-vehicle unit 3, whereby ID authentication is performed by communication so that a vehicle door is locked and unlocked without key operation. The device is provided with processing steps S1-S12 which are conducted by a control part 31 for detecting the portable units 2 of both vehicles in all of outside detection ranges by the own vehicle and another vehicle when a portable unit detection range overlaps that of another vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
