<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a recorded image with less deterioration of image quality by exactly performing motion vector detection even when a video signal to which a special effect is performed is coded. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging recorder corrects luminance of a video signal so that luminance values of a picture for coding for detecting motion information and a reference picture becomes equivalent according to elapsed time after a special effect setting means starts operations, generates a video signal suitable for motion prediction even when a video signal in which correlation between a frame and a field is reduced such as a fade video image is input to detect a motion vector with high coding efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
