<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording guidance method to increase an operability of a broadcast receiving apparatus, installing a removable hard disk in addition to an internal information recording medium built therein, within the broadcast receiving apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The recording guidance method of the broadcast receiving apparatus comprises a display portion and at least an install-type HDD 25 for recording video data and a removable HDD (iVDR) 26, so as to selectively enable recording of a broadcast program in them. The recording is conducted into the install-type HDD 25, in substitution, if the iVDR 26 is not inserted into the apparatus when executing the recording programmed onto the iVDR 26, as well as displaying a message on the display portion, for prompting to insert the iVDR. If the iVDR is not inserted into the apparatus when executing recording programming to the iVDR, a message is displayed on the display portion, for prompting to insert the iVDR just all the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
