PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment that radiates heat generated within a probe connector of an ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: An inserting section 46 of the probe connector 18 inserted into a main unit is formed in a tapered shape having a slanting side surface (an inserting section slope 48). A connector receiving section 42 for receiving the probe connector 18 of the apparatus side is recessed from the profile of the apparatus. The connector receiving section becomes narrow in the interior direction of itself and has a slanting side surface (a receiving section slope 44) that conforms to the tapered shape of the connector. When the probe connector is inserted, the inserting section slope 48 and the receiving section slope 44 contact with each other in surface contact fashion.
