PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing the noise and the partial wear while enhancing both the drainage property and the steering stability. SOLUTION: A center main groove 3, a side main groove and steeply inclined grooves 7 are arranged in half areas which are formed by dividing a tread part 1 into two by a pattern center CL. A center land part 6 is demarcated by the center main groove 3 and the first side main groove 5. A block row 15 is formed by demarcating the center land part 6 into a large number of practical blocks 14 by the center main groove 3, the first side main groove 5, and the two adjacent steeply inclined grooves 7. An inclined groove bottom part 8 with its depth being gradually increased toward the first side main groove 5 is provided on each steeply inclined groove 7. A first chamfered part 9 with its land part height being gradually decreased toward its fore end 9c is provided on a first acute angle part of each block 14 to be demarcated by the center main groove 3 and each steeply inclined groove 7.
