PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media system, especially a system having synchronization using interruption priority of synchronization order. SOLUTION: The media system comprises a media device having a media file arranged in a folder, and a database composed so as to store information about the media file and/or folder. In order to synchronize the information about media file and/or folder with the database, a synchronizer can be used. The synchronizer synchronizes the information for the folder in the synchronization order. The synchronization order of the determined folder can be preceded by a user. The user can substitute the present folder to the other folder in a higher priority in the synchronization order by specifying a priority different from the synchronization order.
