PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sophisticated electric power steering apparatus having a function with anti-rollover performance for foreseeing a rollover state by using a SAT signal which is normally provided in the electric power steering apparatus and inhibiting quick steering input by a driver to prevent rollover. SOLUTION: The electric power steering apparatus is provided with a function for correcting motor assist to inhibit quick steering input, when a foreseeable roll amount based on a difference between a first SAT value TSAT1which does not include a rolling motion of a vehicle and a second SAT value TSAT2which includes the rolling motion of the vehicle is larger than a predetermined value.
