PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera device provided with a recording control means that can repeatedly perform photographing by eliminating the limitation of a photographing time, and its video recording method. SOLUTION: Management information is attached to image data in a step S21. The image data with the management information attached thereto is sent to determination processing of a step S22 for sequentially storing the first cell first and a step S30 for determining whether an end instruction is outputted. After the image data recorded by repeating the step S22 and the step S30 is stored in the n-th cell, the (n+1)-th image data is stored in the first cell. The image data is stored while overlapped on previously stored image data, to thereby erase the previous image data existing in the cell and record and store the subsequent image data.
