摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve capable of solving the problem that high-pressure fire extinction water in piping on the upstream side is pressure-fed at high speed in the piping of downstream side without being filled with water since a main valve is separated rapidly from a valve seat, and forced to be fully opened at a stretch when fire extinction water is supplied to a compression chamber by opening the starting valve of the control valve. SOLUTION: A throttle opening S arranged in the piping 9 of a downstream side generates a pressure difference on the downstream side, and this pressure difference is controlled by a control means, and the opening degree of the main valve 27 of a control valve is controlled so that a turbulent flow may not be generated. Furthermore, high-pressure fire extinction water in piping 8 on the upstream is not pressure-fed at high speed in the piping 9 of the downstream side since the main valve 27 of the control valve is not fully opened until the downstream side K2 of a throttle opening S has been fully filled with water. Additionally, at a stage in which the downstream side K2 of the throttle opening S has been fully filled with water, and discharging is started, since the pressure difference of the throttle opening S is kept small by a control means, the main valve 27 of the control valve is fully opened smoothly, and a water hammer by a turbulent flow is not generated in a nozzle or the piping of fire extinguishing equipment.
