PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating mechanism of a lock on the indoor side which easily operates an operating member on the indoor side even by a person with an injured finger or a handicapped finger while laying stress on barrier free. SOLUTION: The operating mechanism of the lock on the indoor side is provided with an operating box which is fixed to the inner wall surface of a door, a rotation shaft which is directly or indirectly engaged with a tumbler inside a lock box mounted on the door, and an operating lever having an inner end fixed to the rotation shaft and an outer end which protrudes outside through a notched part formed at the side wall in the circumferential direction of the operating box. In the operating mechanism of the lock on the indoor side, when pressingly operating the outer end of the operating lever while applying the finger or the hand to the outer end, the rotation shaft is rotated in a locking direction or an unlocking direction.
