PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which permits a game imitating a sugoroku game to smoothly proceed, and permits performances relating to the progress of a slot machine game to be put on without making the result of the shugoroku game affect the slot machine game. SOLUTION: The slot machine decides on one selection mode from among a plurality of selection modes on the basis of the result of a drawing of a combination drawing means and decides on a selected halt point where characters come to a halt one after another in accordance with the decided one selection mode.
